Till 2019, she was theme leader of the Institute of Societal Research&#8217;s theme Care and Welfare in a resilient society, and still coordinates the research theme Diversity in Care. She has been involved in the Longitudinal Aging Study Amsterdam (LASA) since its start in 1992.
