Karen Glaser is currently full Professor of Gerontology, the Head of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine and Director of the King’s Centre for Global Ageing at King’s College London. Her research interest include i) family care, with a particular focus on cross-national comparisons, and ii) life course research especially with respect to the impact of family histories on later life health and wellbeing from a comparative perspective.
