Martina Brandt is full Professor for Social Structure and Ageing Societies and the Head of the Master program on “Ageing Societies” at TU Dortmund. As assistant coordinator (research), Martina Brandt was involved in the central coordination of the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) until 2014. Her research in the fields of life course and ageing covers family, health and labour across the life course, intergenerational support and social networks, social inequality and social policy in Europe, using comparative quantitative methods.
